From the breathtaking architecture and decor of the resort to the incredible staff, who are nothing short of angels—always helpful, always smiling, and anticipating your every need—everything about this place is simply exceptional. One of the unique experiences begins with breakfast, where you take off your shoes before entering the dining area. What awaits inside is a vast selection of local and international dishes, served on a spacious terrace overlooking the stunning pool and the mountainous landscape of the island. We chose a pool villa, which turned out to be the perfect sanctuary of tranquility and privacy, especially when traveling with children. It was an excellent choice—the villa was beautifully designed, and having access to a private pool 24/7 made it almost impossible to resist spending most of our time swimming and relaxing. The main pool, located right by the beach, is equally impressive. No crowds, crystal-clear water, a stylish design, and the proximity to the shore create the perfect setting to unwind and soak in the island atmosphere. Dinners at the resort are pure magic—outdoors, accompanied by breathtaking sunsets that add to the unforgettable ambiance. The hotel offers fantastic promotional dining experiences that are absolutely worth trying. Many of these special evenings are enhanced by live performances of local music, traditional instruments, or mesmerizing fire shows. The resort’s spa is another highlight, offering expertly performed massages in a setting designed for complete relaxation. Once again, the staff go above and beyond to ensure your comfort and well-being. To sum up, Santhiya Tree Resort is a solid 10/10 in my book and firmly holds a spot in my personal Top 3 hotels worldwide.

We absolutely loved our time at the Santhiya Tree. We chose one of the river view rooms with private pool and it was the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. It was all wood with touches of ceramic items and welcoming lighting. The large glass sliding doors opened up to a veranda with an infinity pool overlooking the river, green hills and mangroves. Relaxing on the daybed looking out over the pool whilst listening to the sound of all the tropical birds was definitely a highlight of our stay. There beautiful hotel pool is surrounded by palm trees and comfy sunbeds and gorgeous beach in front of the hotel is palm-fringed with white sand and turquoise water. The staff were really lovely and did an excellent job of looking after us. We were really sad to leave.

This was a stunning hotel and the staff are really friendly and hard working. They could not do enough to help you. Our room was lovely and a big size. The grounds of hotel are beautiful. It was nice that you could just WhatsApp staff with any questions and if you were out and about they would book taxis for you, which was useful as not always easy to do on Koh Chang later at night (taxis generally just drive up and down the main road). Drinks and food were nice.

The facilities and the sorroundings were all pleasing for the eye and well maintained. The food were a treat everytime. I know I sound like i were payed to say this, but this is my honest opinion and I have tried quite lot of different places in my time.

One of staff (Liam) was exceptional in assisting finding the car till BKK airport and other helpful tips to explore the island. I really recommend to stay there: rooms in the main building have its own private swimming pools. Breakfast place has fantastic view to mountains and "infinite" pool.
